New Week.

I wanted to update the fundraising side of this site quickly. I am preparing a roll call of commitments and contributions for next week. We have had some checks roll in and commitments are climbing. We have over 15, 000.00 pledged. Now I need to collect. I appreciate those who have given so far. Your help is much appreciated. There is a waiting room that will be equipped with this money I hope at Arkansas Children's Hospital. I have also gotten a lot of support in the way of advice and offers of some schwag from my friends in the running and riding trades. Thanks Go! Running and The Chainwheel.

For those of you who don't know the game. I have asked folks to give 1 dollar for every hour I train not to exceed 650.00. The training period lasts until Iroman Louisville. I have been averaging between 10-12 hours so far and it will jump from there. There response has been great. We are working to raise money for the Jackson Graves Foundation. It meets the needs of patients and families in Neonatal Intensive Care Units. If you wish to participate, you can click the Razoo button the left. You can set up a one time donation or a recurring monthly one. Big things are coming for the Foundation. Wait and see. http://www.jacksongraves.org/

This 3 weeks on and 1 week off is a myth. Hillary has rewarded my hard work by adding a new level of work. Appreciate the confidence. Learning to love agony. My 60 miler this weekend was one of the most difficult rides I have had in a while. I was good for 45 miles. Up and down the hills. All of the sudden, my legs decided to make me scream. That lasted for the last 15 miles. Most of which were flat.

I can tell my fitness is improving. The agony after I get off the bike doesn't last the entire two miles of running after.

Langley out!!
