Midweek

Hope all is good in the blog world. This a week of change and adaptation. Life has gotten in the way and New Orleans isn't happening. I was physically prepared to knock it out of the park. The past few days have left me so stressed and mentally blocked that I took a pass on racing.

I am happy to say it was a solid decision. Coach Hillary was cool with the change. Instead of 3 rest days and a race she shortened my rest intervals for swimming and increased my bike mileage. What a gal!!!!

My legs recovered well from Hogeye. A little soreness but I was ready for big gear Tuesday. The legs responded well and felt great today.

Wesley, my 5 year old daughter, figured out last week that I am Director of the ABC. So I am in charge of all the letters for our world. Who could ask for a cooler job than that. I am breaking the nutrition rules and sharing cheetos with her. She gets two and I get a half. Kids democracy!!!
