Saturday Ride

Got in my first outdoor regular course ride in today. Hillary is really making a difference in my ride. I handled this much easier than I did anytime last year. Like all first rides there were plenty of things to sort out. Forgot water bottle; Garmin died at mile 52 of 60. Chain issue here and there. Below is a cool new addition to Garmin Connect. Now you can see what a workout is like. Will post the Hogeye Half Marathon next week. It should be painful so I want to share.

Gotta give props to Ernie at the Chainwheel. The new Cannodale Slice was fantastic. Needs a few small adjustments but it rode solid. I am excited about the year on the bike. Two weeks to New Orleans. Cannot wait!!! Great City and a Great Race.

I am looking forward to no cut feet and a solid finish. This is the first race in the Tri-ing for Jackson Campaign. http://www.jacksongraves.org/ I will be asking for some support based upon a successful race. "success" is defined as a completed race without flats or cut feet.

Happy Easter to everyone!!!!
