The view of children

Avery Tyer is the daughter of Elizabeth and Andy Tyer, my friends. She is one of the sassiest girls I know. She, like her sisters, would fit with the Langley daughters any time. I think the poem below is a masterful expression of how 10 year olds see the world. Tapp, my 10 year old, will agree with this anthem. Enjoy!!!

AVERY TYER

All day I work very hard.

Very hard I work indeed.

Even though my grades aren't perfect

Really, it's true. My grades aren't perfect

You should see them, but it's not worth it.

Time to go.

You really need to go.

Even though you are obviously attracted to me

Really you need to go. But before you do, go get me some flowers or something.
